What you need to know
Fancy 12 months as part of a leading children’s charities grants team in West Africa?
You’ll lead on strengthening the existing grants by capacity building two grants coordinators within the team.
Based at Plan Sierra Leone, in Freetown, you’ll be working full-time for 34.5 hours a week on a fixed term 12 month contract.
What we’re looking for
You will have comprehensive experience of grant management for sizeable development projects funded by institutional donors. Experience of monitoring and reporting on the achievement of project outcomes and deliverables and capacity building of staff is essential to help us improve and refine how our programmes are run.
Plan’s approach is child-centred, so experience of child-centred programming will be an advantage, and you will be expected to demonstrate awareness of child protection issues. We follow stringent child protection policies and procedures when dealing with applications.
What we offer you
The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £35,929 with future pay progression within the pay band from £35,929 to £38,765. Additional to this is, full accommodation (including utilities and services for the duration), two paid flights home and a hardship allowance will be provided to you.
You should expect to receive a net salary reflective of UK net salary.
